Best price to sell articles

I have seen many posts recently, all with conflicting prices. Once I am applicable I am hopefully going to apply to be a Junior VIP here on BHW, and the main things I will be selling are articles.

I was wondering what price you think I should be selling at? I have seen some 'English' people (Indian or somewhere non-native) offering less than $1/100 words, but then elsewhere I have seen people saying you won't get good quality work for $1/100.

My main concern is that even though my articles are written well, I will always lose competition to the '100% native English speakers'. So do you guys think I should price high and aim for an occasional sale, or should I price low, whilst still keeping the same quality, and go for lots of sales? (I type about 80-90 words a minute, so I can plough through articles I already have knowledge on)

I think you should start at lower prices, and once you get yourself out there and people begin to notice your quality, you might consider upping your prices a little bit. The most important thing is to start and get long-term clients.
