Hey there, i sell in the vintage designer niche targeting US customers. i tried on shopify and did multiple 5 figs rev in 3 days but the shopify store got terminated on the 4th day.
After that i tried to run the same store on woocom (since it selfhosted) with a european mid that also accepts US payments but the store currency must be GBP.
It did not get taken down but the conversions were drastically lower.
Now i heard from someone i could cloak on shopify with for example 10 SP accounts so i lower the pressure of getting terminated.
do you guys think i am better of cloaking on shopify or running on woocom but with a USA mid that is able to get embedded in a 1 step checkout and $ store currency?
