I've noticed something interesting in local search results.
Sometimes a business with fewer reviews appears above competitors that have significantly more reviews.
That made me wonder how much weight we should actually give to review count when looking at local rankings.
For example, if one business has:

When you've seen a business with fewer reviews outrank a competitor with many more reviews, what do you think made the difference?
Was it proximity, relevance, review quality, GBP optimization, local backlinks, website signals, or something else?
I'd especially like to hear examples from people who have actually worked on local SEO rather than just general theory.
