Hey guys,
I’m thinking about getting into the replica business and wanted to ask people here who have actually been doing it for a while for some genuine advice.
I’m still at the research stage right now and honestly there’s so much information out there that I’m not really sure what to focus on first.
The main thing I’m trying to figure out is marketing. For those of you already selling in this market, what has actually worked for you in terms of paid and organic marketing? Is it worth running ads from the start or is it better to build up some organic traffic first? And which platforms have worked best for you?
I’m also trying to understand how people find good suppliers. I know everyone says to find a reliable supplier, but what should I actually be looking for when dealing with them? Things like quality, consistency, shipping times, communication, minimum orders, etc. If anyone has any general advice on how to properly find a supplier, that would help a lot.
I’m also not really sure where to start with the actual store side of things. Would you guys recommend starting with something like shopify or woocommerce?
Another thing I’m unsure about is whether it’s better to start with a few products and see how they do or launch with a bigger selection from the beginning.
I’d also appreciate any advice on pricing, margins, getting the first few customers and eventually scaling the business.
Basically, if you’ve been in this business for a while, what would you tell someone who is just starting out? What mistakes did you make when you first started that i should try to avoid?
I’m not expecting anyone to give away their suppliers or anything like that. Just looking for genuine advice and some direction before I put money into it.
Appreciate any advice.
