I ran a DMARC check scan on top 1M shopify store domains and found that only about one third of them have a strict DMARC enforcement.
Studies after studies have shown that moving to a p=reject DMARC policy has improved domain reputation as well as inbox placement rate. My client's IPR jumped from 78% to 93% after enforcement.
And this also protects your customers from impersonators, so it's a win-win situation.
So, I urge every serious email marketer to move to strict DMARC enforcement (p=reject).
P.S. There's a new version of DMARC i.e. DMARCbis which changes a few things. Keep that in mind when gradually enforcing your DMARC policy.
