Adult searches no longer possible to see even with safe search turned off, what happened?

I thought my bot had broken some small site change or somesuch but when I logged into an account manually and search I can't even find any adult blogs that way either.

Safe search is off- there is no longer even a lock on the right hand side and 0 results return for any adult related term.

I also have no found any tumblr news items about any kind of update related to this so am confused what is going on.

Anyone know any more?
