By advertising you mean buying ads? I'd recommend just posting daily content. Convert the account to business, and watch your views grow.

That's exactly what I've been doing (posting normal pins) and just made the account a business one. I was looking for a guide to running promoted pins, etc. most efficiently. There are many guides for Bing ads, etc. that cover keywords, budget, exactly how the ad interface works and what you should be doing - that's the type of thing that I was looking for.

How is your growth going? Ive started a business account aswell posting 5 pins a day. Ive been doing this for a week and 30k imperssions. However my latest pins, like 1-3 days old pins arent getting any views. Only the first few pins have gained all the 30k. Is it just a waiting game or what.

You're doing good! I've only gotten a few hundred impressions so far, I posted like 10 - 20 pins and kinda lost steam as I wasn't seeing results. Also, not seeing much engagement, are you getting many pin clicks, likes, link visits?

These are my stats. I would say that outbound clicks is pretty for a week and a half old account. I think Pinterest is just a waiting game. Slow and steady wins the race. Im kinda not used to it. Going viral on IG is fast and easy, however pinterest is completely different game.
