Do You Think AI Will One Day Have A Mind Of Its Own?

Do you guys think this is a possibility just like in the movies? Robots side by side with humans? Or humans become obsolete?

Of course it is, its called AGI.

Not necessarily, since intelligence and sentience are not the same. Last time I checked, the devs don't even want it to be sentient, since that could come with many problems.

Of course it will have its own "mind". Even right now there are like 2 bots who went out of control and now they are "coding" themselves with the informations they find on the Internet.

Probably, But it will take a long time before we will see them moving in their own bodies.

Most likely going to be some type of ex machina scenario where they are running around with out people knowing.

Hmmm.... I think we still are a long way from that. Like i mentioned before, AI still needs the human touch to be able to apply things according to how it's supposed to. Really good prompting plays a big role in most AI tools and it will still be the same thing fro many years to come
