Do you use conversion tracking when cloaking your FB ads?

I am just curious how many of you use conversion tracking when cloaking your FB ads?

I was told not to do it, but we have had CBD and Keto ads cloaked in the past using conversion tracking with no issues..

As I know, the pixel is attached to the landing page, so you can completely track conversions
