I’m about to launch a SaaS platform that automates blog content creation using AI (ChatGPT and other APIs). It’s targeted at both individual content creators and small businesses,

I plan to offer a free trial, but I want to avoid spammers and bots from abusing the platform. I’m considering mobile verification as one option but don’t want to require credit card details for the trial, as that might deter legitimate users.

I’m looking for advice on the best way to:

Prevent duplicate or fake sign-ups?
Block bot activity?
Ensure the trial is used by real, interested users?
Would mobile verification be effective, or are there better alternatives? Any advice or experiences with similar SaaS models would be greatly appreciated!

If the product is good I doubt anyone would see an issue to pay $1 for lets say 7 day trial or 3 day trial, make yourself an easier time to repel free loaders and do paid trial, or make free trial for 1 day only and or limit it to the point that there would be no point for multi account creation an leeching.
