I took over a failing restaurant and totally renovated. New name, logo, website and everything.
On Google Maps I updated the old business to say its permanently closed and created a new business listing for the restaurant.
The business now shows up on Google Maps but on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram there is no option to check-in for my business, but the old business does!
I'm assuming there are registries and listing in the background that I need to go into and update, but I don't know what they are or how do update them.
Basically I wanted to get some advice on how to get my business to start showing up on social media and food delivery apps.
