How to open a company in Estonia? What documents are needed?

I’m from another European country and considering opening a company in Estonia through the e-Residency program. I have a few questions for those who are familiar with the process or have gone through it themselves. Has anyone here successfully opened a company in Estonia via e-Residency? I’d love to hear how easy or complex the process was for you.


What documents are needed to register a company? Can everything be done 100% online, or are there any steps that require a physical presence?

I’m also wondering about opening a bank account. Are there Estonian banks that allow you to do this entirely online, or did you have to visit in person?

Regarding identification, was it handled online through documents, or did you need to visit an embassy or use another method of verification?

If you’ve been through this, how long did it take from getting e-Residency to having a fully functional company and bank account?

Lastly, are there any other key things I should know before starting this process?
