HTTP(S) vs SOCKS4/5

Recently, I have been reading about different proxies and I found out that HTTP proxy servers re-write the request headers and Socks proxy servers don't.

So, I was thinking if SOCKS proxies can be better than HTTP(S) proxies when it comes to the social media bots or automation etc.

Does the SOCKS proxies have better trust score in their systems?
Is it better than HTTP(S) proxies in any way?

I just thought I should know the opinions of the experts on BHW.

Depends on the context and your preferences.

SOCKS provides versatility for multiple types of traffic, high-speed data transfer and enhanced anonymity but it doesn't encrypt traffic as https does. While HTTPS proxies known for their better protection for sensitive activities like online banking and shopping.
