Hey guys, I built a TikTok downloader site, it's a site with 3 pages and several language translations, initially I deployed it to a subdomain of another domain, when I am done adding the features, I then deployed and added the permanent domain.

Now google is not indexing the domain cause it's showing google selected canonical as the subdomain, even tho I explicitly added the new domain as canonical, also, other languages like /es, /ru etc are getting indexed except the root domain on English, what could be the problem

Google found the content on the subdomain first, and so it currently thinks that's the original source and has a degree of trust in it. You need to change Google's mind. To do this you need to treat your new site like a proper entity, and build branded links to it, have social accounts for it, make it look authoritative. You should also redirect the initial subdomain to your new site.
