Is a device easier to detect if a desktop or phone is being used multiple times?

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but I'm sure there's more to detection than just a solid proxy (font hash, etc)... What information can really be relayed to a server by just a browser visit (not an installed app)?

What I'm trying to do here, is mask information.. But I'm 99% sure the dumb 'anti detect programs' are easily detected. I've tried them all...

I was considering buying a burner laptop, and maybe trying to make changes to it when necessary but not sure if the footprint would still be there.
