Is the value of good domain names also reduced now ?

There was good money in domain flipping earlier and it was like an industry in itself. But I see that demand for domain flipping has reduced. Is it because , even if I start a new site with good domain name, the seo is going to be impossible because of Google updates ? So this makes the expense of investing in good domain name even more useless now.

Good domains will always go up in value, prices are just weeding out noobs with no money.
