Number of pins with the same URL and how to add tags to the pins

I'm a Pinterest newbie but I see there is a ot of potential for free traffic, I'm looking for two informations:
1. How many different pins can I publish with the same URL of blog post? I mean, does this approach reduce pin coverage?
2. How about tagged topics for basic pins? Do you use topics from the dropdown list after type some text or you put your tags list separate commas?

There isn't a specific limit to the number of pins you can create for a single url but yeah you can publish multiple pins for the same blog post url on pinterest. In fact, it can help you reach more people by giving them different looks and info about your post. and about tagging pins, it's best to use the topics that pop up in the dropdown list as you type. these are the ones that pinterest thinks will help your pins get noticed by the right folks.

I don't think there's a recommended number. Nobody knows how many is too much. But repeating URLs is perfectly normal.

How about tagged topics for basic pins? Do you use topics from the dropdown list after type some text or you put your tags list separate commas?

I choose from the list, hit enter, then enter text again and choose another one. You don't separate them by commas, each time you select one, pinterest automatically highlights them.
