Prequalifying with outbound?

Was wondering if its good to prequalify a prospect/lead via outbound emailing (cold emailing)

By prequalifying i mean like asking them to complete a survey/answer a few questions.

Have any one of you have any success doing this?

If you are cold emailing it is going to be extremely difficult to pre-qualify them with a survey or simply shooting over a set of questions.

Sales is not about you - the prospect doesn't care that you want their money. There is nothing in for them to answer that survey.

If you are cold emailing, you need to convince that person it is worth their time to meet with or speak to you, not send a Google forms survey link.
