*Do I need Python or Node.js to run this?

No. Chronos is a native Windows app (MSI installer). You only need Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and Google Chrome installed.

*Is there a profile limit?

No. Create as many profiles as your hardware can handle — no per-seat or subscription caps.

*Is it open source?

Yes. Chronos Browser Pro is MIT-licensed. You can inspect, fork, and extend the code.

*Which device presets work good on scan sites?

For the cleaner results, use Chrome, Edge, or Opera presets (Windows & macOS fingerprints). iPhone/iPad presets (Safari, Chrome, Opera) also perform well. All presets apply CDP-level fingerprint overrides at launch.

*Do I need a proxy?

Not required, but strongly recommended for multi-account work. HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 are supported per profile. IPv4 proxies are recommended for better stability.

*How do cookies work?

Import JSON or Netscape cookies per profile. If the profile is already running, cookies are injected live — no relaunch needed. Google/YouTube logins often need .google.com cookies, not just site-specific ones.

*Does it guarantee I won't get banned?

No tool can guarantee that. Chronos reduces fingerprint and session-linking risk — it does not make you invisible. You are responsible for how you use it and for complying with platform ToS.

*What support is included?

*Is there a macOS version?

Not yet. The app runs on Windows only. macOS/iPhone/iPad fingerprints are supported as presets — the browser still launches on your Windows machine.
