Do female freelancers do well regarding getting clients than male freelancers?

i want to start freelancing. should i start on upwork or fiverr or any other sites like that, also what steps or tricks and tips do i use so that i can acquire clients. but the most important question is should i make a male or a female based acoounst. meaning should i just potray myself as a woman although im not one. ill use an ai generated woman's picture. will it get me more clients? (SEO and copywriting)

I think it could make a difference depending on the niche and the demographic you are aiming for. for example if it was selling services to etsy sellers then a female persona would probably do better. Some super generic name like Amy, Sarah, Emma etc. If its just for simple things like a fiverr gig then no worries but be careful not to back yourself into a corner with bigger projects, its probably best to just be yourself in most cases.
