does the location where a youtube channel is created matter?

i noticed something weird with youtube, i created a new youtube channel last week for shorts, the google account is completely new, i used a vpn to germany, so i started uploading shorts i noticed most views are from germany

i checked my other channels and since i created it in my country the views are coming from my country too

so i was thinking, if we create a youtube channel, will most of our views come from origin country?

Are the content the same?
For me, most of my views comes from:
1. India 24%
2. US 10.5%
3. UK 5%
4. Pakistan 3%
5. South Africa 3%

This is a second channel and it follows the exact same pattern as the first
