Ebooks and Torrents - Proof of Concept

Okay, Again this is not my original idea. I recently saw this method on a post here and tried to find it again but found a lot discussing this concept.

Again, not my idea, just giving my results for trying it out.

Attached is the first ebook I pushed out on torrents. Its about dating or cheating using online dating sites (specifically AFF) and how not to get caught. In hindsight it was to specific and I probably should of made it more broad.

Goals of the ebook creation:
-At least 5 pages
-Over 500K in size
-Good front cover
-Present it in a way that looks like it cost money
-Monetize with affiliate links

Method of Delivery
Delivery over torrent. I used mininova with a piratebay tracker. I also submitted the torrent to several torrent sites.

Stats
Time Creating the ebook: 2 hours
Time Submitting and promotion: 45 minutes
Return after 1 day: $0.00
Return after 1 week: $135.00 (1 signup)

So basically $49/hour. Not bad.

Goals to improve this method:
-Switch ebook to larger market
-Find different affiliate to monetize other than dating (gambling??)
-Find ways to outsource and reduce time to implementation
-Expand exposure to other file-sharing sites

Summery
The method actually made money and has the possibility to keep making money with little effort. With scale this could actually grow into something I would continue putting time into although could be time consuming.

I like this idea. I do content writing so the ebook wouldn't be to hard for me.

Other ideas that could be profitable:

Weightloss
Sexual Enhancements (Have better sex, go longer, please your woman/man)
Gambling (If international)
Parenting (Anything really related to parenting) (Baby Gear sells really well)
Pets (Especially dogs & cats) (products)

I was planning to give this a go with a dating ebook as well. Might have to try a different niche.

I'm taking it this could be done with a nicely re-branded PLR ebook. For example, I'll include niche related ebooks with an embedded sales page into my site flips and it highly increases the value - when really it's just a high quality PLR with a new cover (designed by myself) using CoverAction Pro.

I could just do the same thing, and rebrand the ebook with a new title and cover, saving me the time of writing it.

I have done this for dating,penis enlargement,weight loss and muscle building and it hasn't made me a lot of money but once the torrents are uploaded the jobs done. I track all clicks from the ebooks by using AdTrackz.
