Hmm - Someone posted a negative article, but the website has no contact details?

So someone posted a negative article a few weeks back on a website... The website its self, has a contact page but the fckin sendmail part of their form doesn't work. I tried to do a domain whois, its private. I tried to search the domain in Google to see if there was any contact details anywhere, nothing. I tried shooting off emails that were generic (info@, contactus@, admin@ domain.com) and all bounced.

What to do in this situation? Anyone have any ideas on how to contact this website owner?

Try to contact hosting and ask then to take the site down as it don't have contact info. Flag the result in the serp page. Ask domain registrar to seize the domain.
Try to outrank the article.

I would suggest contacting the website or searching for the author of the article to discuss the content of the article.
