Start with max clicks to get an idea of your market.

After you see how traffic is distributed among your keywords consider switching to manual bidding.

It is best if you have set a conversion goal for your KPIs so you know if some specific keywords have higher ROAS than others. This is how you decide what to bid high and what low.
