I think there might be a big misunderstanding with videos marked as "for kids"

One of my biggest traffic drivers was marked as "for kids" over a year ago. I tried fighting it and it was rejected. So I just left it up since it still got a lot of natural traffic. To my surprise it is not only still making money, but it is one of my top 20 highest earning videos to this day. It looks like this video's traffic is divided 50% between YouTube Kids and the normal YouTube website. I'm thinking that videos viewed on the main website will always have ads no matter what. Wanting to hear from someone else who has had this or a similar experience

I think the only thing that is very evident is that "for kids" videos does not allow comments but other than that, it works the same way as regular videos.
