landing page does not load as it should

I created a landing page in word press but when I put the url in anonymous mode to see if it is working correctly it does not appear as it should look at the images the first is how it should be and the second is how it appears

haven't worked with Wordpress in almost 2 years, so I'm not sure what has changed (probably a lot).

But if I remember things correctly, this could be a template issue, so change the template of the page (probably somewhere at the bottom of the page... or maybe in the theme's settings?) and see if it helps.
