Looking for Advice: Payment Gateway + WordPress Setup for My Own SEO Services Site

Hi everyone,

I’m based in Asia, and unfortunately, my country doesn’t have access to some of the popular payment options like PayPal and certain international checkout solutions.

At the moment, I’m doing freelancing through different marketplaces. The good thing is that marketplaces handle payments and provide some level of protection, but they also take a commission from every order. That part is fine for now, but I’d like to reduce my dependency on marketplaces.

I’m planning to launch my own website where I can sell services such as:

• Off-page SEO
• Niche relevant backlinks
• Forum backlinks
• Guest posts
• Local SEO/link building packages

The main thing I’m trying to figure out is the payment side.

I’m looking for a reliable payment gateway that:

• Supports businesses/freelancers from Asian countries
• Can accept international customers
• Works with WordPress
• Has reasonable fees
• Ideally supports card payments and/or other international payment methods
• Doesn’t create unnecessary account/withdrawal issues

I’m also deciding whether I should simply build the site with WordPress + WooCommerce, or use another setup that is better suited for selling digital SEO services.

Which payment gateway + website setup are you using?

I’d really appreciate recommendations based on actual experience, especially regarding account approval, payment holds, withdrawals, and international clients.
