Made $15k from P2P last year. I'm done with it — what should I build next?

I've been involved in P2P for a while and last year I made around $15,000 profit from it.

It taught me a lot:

  • Buying/selling and pricing
  • Managing liquidity
  • Dealing with clients
  • Payment methods and banking
  • Risk management
But honestly, I'm getting tired of P2P.

Too much time goes into payment problems, account restrictions, KYC/AML issues, counterparties, and constantly worrying about whether a particular setup will survive.

I don't want to spend the next few years doing the same thing and its also dying.

So I'm considering putting $10k–$20k of my own money into a completely different project.

I'm not looking for another P2P strategy, another trading method, or some “easy money” scheme.

I want to build something that can eventually become an actual business/asset.

My P2P experience also taught me how to acquire customers, manage transactions, calculate margins, deal with risk and operate online.

What I'm looking for

Ideally:

  • $10k–$20k initial investment
  • Online or hybrid business
  • Something scalable
  • Preferably recurring revenue
  • Not dependent on one financial account
  • Something I can actually build and improve over time
If you had $10k–$20k, my skill set, and my experience, what would you build in 2026?

I'm particularly interested in ideas that you've actually built or tested, rather than generic “start dropshipping/SaaS/affiliate marketing” advice.

If you have a project that failed, that's interesting too. I'd rather learn from someone who already lost $10k than someone selling a course about making $10k.
