PayPal Country A, Shopify Country B

Is it possible to link a PayPal business account from one country (Country A) to a Shopify store based in another country (Country B), if the two businesses aren't officially connected?

Does PayPal collect any information from Shopify, such as sending bots to the linked website or checking the source of the payment, to verify the website's content or ownership?

Would hiding ownership details on the website's frontend make any difference?

Could occasionally switching between different PayPal accounts by linking and unlinking them from the same Shopify store cause any issues? Or does PayPal not have any concerns as long as all transactions are properly tracked and there are no disputes?
