I started to find my pins stolen by other users, and they leave everything the same except the URL, so it is not a traditional sharing. I found several and started to report them but I don't know what Pinterest will say. Did it happen to you? What do those users gain by doing that? What kind of software do they use to do that?

It's normal, not anything special. It has happened to me in the past. Unlike Google SERP, pin A ranking from another account doesn't always prevent your own pins from ranking.

In fact most pins would never rank or go viral no matter how good they are. You can keep reporting them if your pin(the images) are designed, if it's just the same pictures that you both use then I don't see why you're reporting them.
