Ranking in China?

I wrote an article two days ago. The article in a sense does have some relevance to China, but has in no way been designed to cater towards China, nor is there any Chinese language in the entire writing. I'm pretty puzzled by this, there was nothing but a minor section of the entire article, that had any direct mention of the country. The section made up like 2-4% of the article in total, although the keyword does have some relevance to the Chinese people.

It appears as if, I am genuinely ranking for some keywords on the Chinese version of Google? If anyone can provide some perspective for this, I'd appreciate it

It’s possible your article is picking up traffic due to the relevance of the keywords to Chinese users, even if the focus isn’t on China. Google’s algorithm often ranks content based on intent and keyword associations. You might want to check if your article is linked or shared on Chinese forums or platforms, as that could also drive traffic.
