Subscriptions with Sellix + Wordpress

Hey guys, I am setting up my streaming site with Wordpress/Woocommerce + Sellix to take payments. From what I have read here, Sellix can work ok with Paypal since it pushes the sale as a "digital product". My site will be low traffic so I'm hoping I can get some traction with this setup without running into issues with Paypal right away.

The products I created on Sellix are monthly subscriptions. However, I am not really sure if I should embed these products on my site from Sellix, or if I should create a subscription product with Woocommerce and just use Sellix as the payment gateway (not sure if that would even work)...

Does anyone have experience with this? If so, what would you recommend? Ideally, I'd love my users to be able to cancel their subscription directly from my site. I'm not really sure if it's possible to have this kind of management through the Sellix API and their documentation is super limited. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

A small update for anyone who might find this thread useful:

The Sellix plugin for Woocommerce doesn't work on subscription products. If you create a monthly subscription product with Woocommerce (with the Woocomerce subscriptions plugin), Sellix won't be available as the payment gateway despite the Sellix plugin being activated. Therefore, products need to be embedded through Sellix embed code. Additionally, any kind of management on the user's end will have to be done through the Sellix customer portal (like say, if they wish to cancel), or the subscription data will need to be pulled through the API which involves a much more complex type of integration. This means you'll have to link your clients to your Sellix store so they can log into the customer portal and manage their subscription.

Woocommerce is pretty much redundant if you're setting up subscriptions with Sellix, since it can offer nothing more than a user dashboard where no data will be shown as there is nothing linked from Wocommerce to Sellix. Data would only be shown if products are NOT subscription based, and purchased through Woocomerce with Sellix set as the payment gateway.

Hopefully this will shed some light on anyone trying the same as I did.
