VPN or proxies suitable for sending business DMs to people over Reddit, Facebook, Discord

Curious if proxies are preferred.

I think I'd read somewhere that some services have an issue with using VPNs. Not sure if that is reason enough to warrant bans though. Reddit sometimes prohibits me from accessing content unless I'm using particular servers on my VPN.

Not sure how Facebook responds to VPNs but I think they don't allow for running multiple accounts on the same IP
Discord doesn't seem to mind. I've had 20 accounts on a single IP no issues (yet)

Does it matter?

Proxies are generally preferred for managing multiple accounts as they allow separate IPs for each account. VPNs can sometimes lead to bans if multiple accounts share the same IP. For Facebook, using proxies for account management is safer
