What performs better: Posting Pins Or Videos On Pinterest?

I would like to know which type of posts performs better on Pinterest: pins or videos, I'm planning on driving traffic to my affiliate/CPA offer landing page.

Also how long it takes before I start seeing some engagement?

Picture pins are more popular than videos, none of my videos get any impression's that worth the time put into them.

Also how long it takes before I start seeing some engagement?

Several weeks to several months.

You may get lucky(which is rare) some pins start popping really early.

Pins work the best, at least for my accounts.
