When Reddit stops, we have to tremble

Today, for the third time in a month, I saw Reddit go offline. The first time was before the elections (for me, it was offline for about 2 hours). I saw it offline again yesterday and… today, but today I already understood.

The shutdown before the elections signaled a bot crackdown. Since then, I adapted, rewrote all the codes, and managed to start again. Yesterday, in my opinion, was the prelude to what happened today—the end.

I’ve been creating accounts for 3 hours, and even the smallest post gets banned!

It sounds like Reddit’s downtime has been disruptive, especially if it impacts your activities. The recent changes, particularly around bot regulations, seem to signal a shift in their approach. Adapting quickly like you did is impressive—hopefully, this isn’t truly the “end” but an opportunity to innovate further.
