Improve VPS download/upload speeds

I am hosting a website on a VPS. All my assets are on a CDN, but the client still needs to hit the VPS the get the index page. The VPS is the bottleneck here, and it has about a 600ms load time to fetch the index. Is there any way I can increase the Upload speeds on the VPS? I am usinh hostinger.

There's no magic speed increase for free button, so you'd need to switch VPS providers or get a dedicated system.

Just be glad you didn't figure out that Hostinger sleeps their VPS systems. If no one accesses your site for a while, the next visitor will take multiple seconds to even start loading as your VPS has to be woken up. They oversell the resources, and this sleep behavior is how they do it. Hostinger is cheap for a reason.
