Q: Who are UnGagged?
A: MMO is an awesome forum which decided to put on a conference. This idea was inspired by members of the forum who realized the benefit and potential in meeting up in real life. But being one of the busiest forums in the world it didn't take too long to realize they needed some outside help to take on such a massive undertaking, hence the reason UnGagged was created.
Q:What is UnGagged?
A: UnGagged is:
i) A fantastic educational where the only restriction is how much you're willing to learn.
ii) A massive networking opportunity for the MMO community, with dedicated networking areas and sponsored space.
iii) A chance to close that deal you've been working on .... and find the next one.
iv) A secret event - what's said in Vegas will only be know to you. No recordings. No live feeds.
v) a NON-pitch fest. Pitch free. Pitch-less. (no pitching - we get it ed)

Q: Is it a MMO conference?
A: Mainly. UnGagged needed an even wider appeal especially as the MMO split is 60/40 small company or individual entrepreneur against agencies. For 3 days there is a lot of cutting edge MMO being revealed and there is a MMO track with up to 12 different sessions from industry experts from within and outside the forum. UnGagged has the thoughts and attitudes from the forum completely at the forefront of the event model. Q: Why would such information be shared for free?
A: It's not free. You need to buy a ticket! UnGagged have arranged the most relevant speakers who want to share their brains with you. They are all on top of their game and are topic experts, they have clients and they are successful, they don't need to spend an hour pitching to you to earn money, their kick is to help people learn and earn money for themselves. We've refused money grabbing leeches, they can go to other inferior events to sell their shit. If, you were to arrange a private consultation with any of of our 30+ speakers it would cost you anywhere up to $5k for an hour of their time. Attendees can tap into this wealth of wisdom for the tiniest fraction of that cost. Put it another way, you can see any of these inspiring guru's for 1%, yes 1% of what it would cost you to have an individual one on one. Q: Will you be selling session recordings post event ?
A: No. The promo video by Erika explains this issue, we will not be selling sessions post conference to those who unfortunately cannot attend in real life. The reason why we are not selling post conference is because this is a private, must attend, behind closed doors event with quality cutting edge knowledge being shared for those in attendance. Because attendees aren't being subjected to pitch and after pitch after pitch this higher quality event costs slightly more than some pitch fest events. Because some event organizer's strike deals with pitch speakers it works out to be detrimental to the attendees, so if you pay less for a ticket the likelihood is you will have to endure 3 days of selling bs. UnGagged is a high quality great valued event and it wouldn't be fair to those joining us if we then de-valued the event and commitment to our attendees by selling copies of sessions. Plus the speakers are revealing such awesome information, they too do not want this out in public. It's UnGagged or its UNavailable.
Q: Will there be future MMO / UnGagged conferences outside the US?
A: If Vegas turns out to be the success we are all hoping for, perhaps the future will see different locations used for UnGagged events. To a certain degree this decision is in the hands of those who should be attending Vegas. Sorry to anyone who can't join us.
Q: Can't go to the US, why have it there?
A: MMO has an enormous worldwide reach for which they are proud BUT the vast majority of this community are in the US. DD and the UnGagged team are in the UK so we certainly didn't chose the venue for our benefit, no, as always MMO were thinking of its community and therefore tried to choose a venue to please the majority. For all those who cannot make Vegas all of us involved in putting on this gigantic task, are truly sorry.
Q: What am I going to learn?
A: Loads from fellow marketing ninja's whilst clinking bottles or taking time out in our quiet chill out zones, one on one's or at the various networking events.
